• Schmidt Science Fellowships Successful applicants will receive a personal stipend of US$110,000 per year for up to two years of postdoctoral study in a different area from their PhD, at any approved location worldwide.

• BBSRC Fellowship Scheme.BBSRC Fellowship Scheme (previously Discovery Fellowships) supports researchers who have demonstrated great potential to become future leaders.

• ICRF – Imperial College Research Fellowship. A 4-year fellowship designed for outstanding early-career researchers looking for an opportunity to focus on research and establish scientific independence. 

• Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships. The Postdoctoral Fellowships action targets researchers holding a PhD who wish to carry out their research activities abroad, acquire new skills and develop their careers. 

• 1851 Research Fellowship. Open to candidates intending to conduct research in any of the physical or biological sciences, in mathematics, in applied science, or in any branch of engineering.

• Newton Research Fellowship. This fellowship is for non-UK scientists who are at an early stage of their research career and wish to conduct research in the UK.

• EMBO Fellowship. This fellowship supports internationally mobile postdoctoral researchers in Europe and around the world.

• Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship. For early career researchers with a research record but who have not yet held a full-time permanent academic post, to undertake a significant piece of publishable work.
